Ben Coolyn Farm and Vineyard

Perched atop the rolling hills of the Keswick Valley, Ben Coolyn epitomizes the rich tradition of Virginia land stewardship. Known for its lush formal gardens, views of the Blue Ridge mountain cresting the Southwest foothills, and its dark nourishing soil, it dates back to the 18,000 acre Meriwether Land Grant of 1730. With its rich, rocky soil and slightly lower elevation, this vineyard is classically planted with varieties such as Viognier, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
